These companies have elected to give these employees retirement benefits, and they promised them retirement benefits.  Then after 6 months, 9 months, after they retire, they cut’em off.  The union takes them to court.  The court says, “You have to reinstate these benefits,” and the companies turn around and say, “Sue us, take us to court, we don’t care.  We don’t give a damn.  We’re just going to take them away.”  Now, is it a financial issue?  That they don’t have the money to fund the benefits?  Or are they just turned around, and, like I said, they’re cutting their overhead?  I don’t think that’s right.
